Feeling "Leggy"
I feel like I may be so much closer to achieving an aesthetic I want most of my illustration to take on. Gouache Rhymes with Squash
Okay, so after doing more research on techniques, I found out that the “less-proficient” gouache painters actually cheated by incorporating acrylic paints. Either you can use it as a layer itself and then use gouache for other elements on the picture plane, or MIX THEM! The problem with gouache is that it messes up real easy when moisture such as water is added to it on the surface....

Finding my style.
I’ve wrapped myself up in the imaginative world of action heroes, video game vixens, and fantasy genres for most of my childhood. I’d even say it seeped through some of my teenage years.
